What the Como Open Pass Includes
The Como Open Pass allows you to take a Trenord train from any city or town in Lombardy and get off at either Como Lago or Como San Giovanni station.
From there, you can use ASF city and regional buses all day, with unlimited rides.
The pass gives you access to popular destinations like Brunate, Menaggio, Bellagio, Argegno, and even Val d’Intelvi. The only services not included are the ASF Express buses (Bellagio Express_AEX30 and Menaggio Express_AEX10).
This all-in-one ticket is especially helpful for travelers who want to explore Como and its surroundings without having to buy separate train and bus tickets or figure out fare zones.

How the Como Open Pass Works
You can board a Trenord train from any station in Lombardy — whether you’re in Milan, Bergamo, Monza, or elsewhere — and head to Como.
Once you arrive, simply hop on any regular ASF bus and begin exploring. The official ASF website offers a route planner where you can enter your starting point and destination to check which line to take and when.
To return, just take any Trenord train back to your departure city. The last trains from Como are at convenient times:
- Como Lago to Milano Cadorna at 9:16 PM
- Como San Giovanni to Milano Centrale at 9:36 PM
- Como San Giovanni to Milano Porta Garibaldi at 10:49 PM

The ticket is valid only on the date you choose when buying and does not need to be validated.
If purchased online, you can simply show the digital version on your phone — no need to print it.
