Frecciarossa Paris–Milan: Back in April 2025

After a temporary suspension caused by a landslide in the Maurienne region, the Paris-Milan route will resume on April 1, 2025.

With four daily trips—departing from Paris at 7:30 AM and 3:20 PM, and from Milan at 6:25 AM and 3:53 PM—the journey will take approximately seven hours. The train will make key stops in cities such as Lyon, Chambéry, Modane, and Turin, connecting major regions along the way.

With four daily journeys, the Frecciarossa will run from Gare de Lyon in Paris to Saint-Charles station in Marseille, stopping at Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Avignon, and Aix-en-Provence. Travel time will be approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.

This new route provides a fast, comfortable, and eco-friendly option for travelers, whether commuting for business or leisure, reinforcing Trenitalia’s commitment to high-quality mobility.

Part of a Bold Growth Strategy

These new routes are part of the FS Italiane Group’s 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, aimed at expanding its international presence. Since its entry into the French market in December 2021, Trenitalia France has transported over three million passengers. Public approval is overwhelmingly positive, with 98% of travelers satisfied and 97% recommending the service to friends and family.
