A historic farewell
Formed in London in 1964, The Who have shaped the sound of rock music for generations. With iconic albums like Tommy, Quadrophenia, and Who’s Next, their influence spans decades of musical innovation and unforgettable performances.

The Milan concert will be one of the band’s final appearances in the European Union, making it a truly unmissable event for fans.
Line-up update: new drummer for the tour
As part of this final journey, Zak Starkey, longtime drummer and son of Ringo Starr, will not be joining the tour.
He is stepping away to focus on new projects. He’ll be replaced by Scott Devours, familiar to fans from Roger Daltrey’s solo shows.
The band has welcomed the transition with warmth and gratitude.

A live album release for the fans
Coinciding with the farewell tour, The Who will release “Live at The Oval 1971” on August 22, 2025. This is the first-ever official recording of their legendary performance at the Goodbye Summer: A Rock Concert in aid of Famine Relief for the People of Bangla Desh.
Held on September 18, 1971, at the Oval cricket ground in London, the concert featured a powerful 15-song set including Behind Blue Eyes, Pinball Wizard, and Won’t Get Fooled Again, performed before a crowd of over 35,000. Known for their unpredictable and energetic shows, the night ended with Townshend and Keith Moon smashing their instruments on stage.
Previously available only as low-quality bootlegs, this concert has been remixed from the original multi-track analog tapes and will be released in multiple physical and digital formats. Pre-orders are already open on The Who’s official store, and general pre-orders will start on June 13.
